When days are warm and garden-fresh tomatoes abound, serve this easy sandwich for a light lunch.
- 2 Kellogg's® Eggo® Homestyle waffles
- 2 thin slices tomato
- 1 ounce fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 2 to 3 small fresh basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- Dash salt
- Dash freshly ground black pepper
1. Prepare Kellogg's® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles according to package directions.
2. Top one waffle with tomato, cheese and basil. Drizzle with vinegar and oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with remaining waffle. Serve immediately.
